For a taste of Norway’s Viking past, head to the Viking Ship Museum to marvel at the preserved ancient vessels and artifacts.

Take a train over to Myrdal where you will embark on one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys aboard the Flåmsbana from Myrdal, perched high in the mountains at 867m, down to the picturesque village of Flåm at sea level. Over an hour, the train winds through dramatic landscapes, descending steep gradients alongside rocky mountainsides, lush valleys, and alongside the sparkling Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord. Passing through 20 tunnels and alongside the Rallar Road, the journey reveals breathtaking views of Norway’s natural beauty, including a stop at the powerful Kjosfossen waterfall, where you can step outside to capture the spectacular sight.
Day 05 (Tue, 15 Jul’25)
Flåm – Bergen

Dive into the heart of Norway’s fjordland on a RIB FjordSafari, navigating the majestic Aurlandsfjord to the gateway of the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. Get up close to hidden waterfalls and scenic villages, with a chance to spot seals, porpoises, and eagles along the way, and hear fascinating local tales and history from your guide as you cruise through the pristine waters.
Afterward, continue to the Stegastein Viewpoint for a truly breathtaking perspective over the fjord. Suspended high above Aurlandsfjord, this glass-floored platform lets you feel as though you are floating above the sweeping landscapes, with panoramic views of Norway’s iconic mountains and valleys.
In the afternoon, take a comfortable catamaran cruise over to Bergen. Sail through the serene Aurlandsfjord and the awe-inspiring Nærøyfjord, passing narrow fjord walls, dense forests, and majestic cliffs that rise skyward.

Venture into the narrow, flower-adorned alleyways of the Old Town, where you will learn about Bergen’s resilience through centuries of fires, wars, and cultural evolution.
Afterwards, take an exhilarating ride on the Fløibanen Funicular, a beloved Bergen experience. Ascend to the summit of Mount Fløyen for sweeping views of the city, fjords, and surrounding islands and soak in the Norwegian landscape.

Experience the thrill of the Original King Crab Safari in Kirkenes, known as Norway’s king crab capital. Take an adventurous RIB-boat ride to the fishing site, where you will see and even help lift these massive crabs from the sea, with some reaching up to 2m in size. Afterwards, you will get to savour the fresh catch in a delicious meal prepared in a rustic boathouse restaurant.
Later, unwind at the Snowhotel’s Gamme Cabin, your accommodation for the night. Inspired by traditional Sami wilderness huts, these cozy, luxurious cabins feature breathtaking views of the fjord from large picture windows. Enjoy a peaceful evening in your warm, wooden cabin surrounded by the stunning landscape.
