Day 02 (Sun, 01 Feb’26)
Ishigaki
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel: ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort or similar

Begin your island adventure with a scenic visit to Kabira Bay. Known for its emerald waters and white sand, this peaceful bay is considered the island’s most stunning spot and offers breathtaking views. Being one of only two cultivation sites of black pearls in Japan, this is also where you can learn about the intricate art of pearl cultivation and see exquisite local jewellery at Ryukyu Pearl.

After lunch, continue on to Ishigaki Yaima Village, a cultural park that where traditional Ryukyu-era homes over 100 years old have been relocated amidst lush greenery. Stroll through a mangrove forest, meet adorable squirrel monkeys, be entertained by folk songs and dances and soak in the rich traditions of Okinawan island life.

Delve into the art of Yaeyama Minsa later and learn all about this time-honoured craft. A traditional local weaving technique featuring four or five squared patterns, this centuries old technique is symbolic of Okinawan culture and design. Get hands-on in a Yaeyama Minsa weaving experience while here.

Day 03 (Mon, 02 Feb’26)
Ishigaki – Naha – Motobu
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel: Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa (Hot Spring) or similar

Flying back to Naha this morning, enjoy a sweet treat of Sata Andagi, Okinawan style doughnuts, with a local lunch. Tantalise your tastebuds as your watch them made and fried fresh before you before sinking your teeth into these crispy and cakey delights!

Afterwards, take in the spectacular view of grassy fields and the azure East China Sea at Cape Manzamo. ‘Manzamo’ means ‘ten thousand sit field’ and refers to the expanse of grass that is supposedly big enough for ten thousand men to sit on. The cape, however, is more famous for its breath-taking view of clear, blue waters and a rock shaped like an elephant’s trunk.

End the day with a walking tour of the quaint village of Bise. Get a glimpse into a traditional Okinawan village where people and nature coexist, and peaceful pathways lead past small shophouses and residences to the ocean. Famously known for its row of approximately 20,000 Fukugi trees lining a sandy path, take a peaceful stroll through the Bise area and you will see why it has been featured in many commercials and films such as Jimami Tofu.

Day 04 (Tue, 03 Feb’26)
Motobu
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel: Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa (Hot Spring) or similar

Immerse yourself in the seasonal beauty of Okinawa today with a visit to the Motobu Yaedake Cherry Blossom Festival, where vibrant pink sakura bloom earlier than anywhere else in Japan. Against the backdrop of Mt Yaedake, stroll beneath approximately 7,000 cherry blossom trees and soak in the festive atmosphere unique to Okinawa’s early spring.

Continue to Ogimi Village, known as the ‘Village of Longevity.’ Take a walking tour through this tranquil community and learn about the simple lifestyle and positive mindset that have earned its residents some of the longest lifespans in the world. Then dine on a longevity set meal crafted from fresh, locally grown ingredients, reflecting the healthy and balanced diet that is key to the residents’ wellness.

In the afternoon, pay a visit to Churaumi Aquarium, regarded as the best aquarium in Japan. Be mesmerised by Okinawan sea life, including whale sharks, manta rays and other species of fish, in its huge Kuroshio Tank, one of the biggest in the world. Outside, be entertained by intelligent dolphins at a dolphin show at the Okichan Theater against the backdrop of the stunning Okinawan sea.

Day 05 (Wed, 04 Feb’26)
Motobu – Naha
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel: Hotel Collective or similar

Start your day by admiring beautiful flowers at the Okinawa International Orchid Show held at the Tropical Dream Center each year. While roughly 2,000 orchids can be seen on normal days, during the show, over 20,000 orchids from Japan and around the world are showcased, making it one of the world’s biggest orchid shows. Be greeted by the sweet scents and vibrant displays that highlight the island’s rich horticultural heritage.

Move on to Kouri Island, often referred to as ‘love island’ for its heart-shaped rocks and romantic legends. Experience its picturesque coast and quiet beaches, and have a scenic lunch at the standout Kouri Ocean Tower. Perched above the emerald waters, this tower offers panoramic views of the sea and Kouri Bridge.

Day 06 (Thu, 05 Feb’26)
Naha
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel: Hotel Collective or similar

Begin the day with a special activity – an authentic local house visit where you will be welcomed into a traditional Okinawan home. Learn about island customs, daily life, and local wisdom passed down through generations from your host. Then share a lovingly prepared home-cooked lunch with your host and experience an intimate taste of Okinawan hospitality.

Afterwards, get an insight into one of Okinawa’s unique foods, umibudo, or sea grapes. Known as ‘green caviar’, this special seaweed grows in tiny bubbles which pop in your mouth when eaten. Discover how these unique marine plants are cultivated and harvested, and sample the fresh, popping sea grapes for yourself.

Next, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Okinawa World, a theme park dedicated to Ryukyu heritage. Stroll through recreated historic streets of red-roofed houses, watch traditional craft demonstrations, and explore the spectacular Gyokusendo Cave, Okinawa’s longest limestone cave. Round off your visit with a traditional Eisa Dance Performance and be entertained by this vibrant and heroic traditional Okinawan dance!

In the evening, enjoy a Ryukyu Dinner, where traditional dishes are served with performances that reflect the rich culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

Day 07 (Fri, 06 Feb’26)
Naha
(Breakfast/-/-)

You will have some free and easy time today to explore the city on your own. Take a stroll down Kokusai Street, the main shopping and entertainment street in Naha.
