Day 02 (Wed, 10 Jun’20)

This morning begins at the picturesque town of Montreux. Located along the shores of Lake Geneva and backed by the Swiss Alps, the beauty of this small town has attracted many an artist, writer and musician over the years. Charlie Chaplin even spent the last 25 years of his life here and you can visit his old home at Chaplin’s World, a museum dedicated to him and his works. You will also visit what is arguably the highlight attraction of Montreux, Chillon Castle. Situated on a small island off the shores of Lake Geneva, this castle was a former toll station for people and goods transported between Italy and the rest of Europe and is now Switzerland’s most visited historic site.
Move further along the Swiss Riviera to Lausanne, the “Olympic Capital” and host of the International Olympic Committee. Boasting an Olympic Museum and Olympic Park, along with numerous other art and history museums, it is also home to a large old town and the best-preserved Gothic cathedral in Switzerland.
Day 03 (Thu, 11 Jun’20)
Geneva – Evian – Sion – Tasch – Zermatt

Head to the French shore of Lake Geneva this morning and stop by at a couple of its scenic cities. First, drop by Yvoire, the “gem of the lake”. Built in the 14th century, this medieval village is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France thanks to its historical old streets and gorgeous gardens. Next, move on to Évian-les-Bains, famed for its mineral water and springs. The resort and spa town known as the “pearl of Lake Geneva” is a charming old town that has been awarded 2 stars in the Michelin Green Guide.
Travelling back to Switzerland, you will travel to Sion, the grand capital of the Valais region. The sunny town is especially prominent with its twin castles sitting atop rocky outcrops created by glaciers long ago. Move over to Täsch where the magnificent Matterhorn comes into view. As the last point where automobiles are allowed, you will take a cogwheel train from here up to Zermatt, the gateway to the Matterhorn.

Wake up at the base of the majestic Matterhorn today and take in all the breath-taking views of and from the mountain! Take a cable car up to Europe’s highest cable car station at 3,883m high and visit the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. A ski resort on the mountain, you can get marvellous panoramic views of 38 four-thousand-metre peaks and 14 glaciers from here on a clear day. After lunch, head up in a different direction by taking the Gornergrat train up the mountain for some of the most spectacular views of the Matterhorn. Especially noteworthy is the view from Riffelsee lake where the mountain’s peak is reflected on the water surface on a clear day.

Take in the glorious sights of Switzerland as you ride on the Glacier Express today! Travelling through the most beautiful areas of the Alps, be treated to one awesome sight after another of mountain forests, alpine meadows, rivers, the Landwasser viaduct, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Abula, the Rhine Gorge, the Oberalp Pass and more on the world’s slowest express train. Relax in your first-class seats as first-class scenery passes by your panoramic windows! Arriving in St. Moritz, two-time host of the Winter Olympics, take in some of the sights of this famous resort town and hotspot for Alpine winter tourism.
Day 06 (Sun, 14 Jun’20)
St. Moritz – Vaduz – Interlaken

Your first stop for today will be the little town of Vaduz. With a city centre referred to as "Städtle", or “small town”, the geographic size of the town has not stopped it from being an important financial centre and well-furnished locale. Surrounded by the mountains, Rhine river and towering castle above the town, this little village is packed with wonders.
Living up to its name which means “between lakes”, Interlaken is straddled by Lakes Thun and Brienz as well as the three grand peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Considered as a base town for exploring the Bernese Oberland, this bustling small town boasts great views and a plethora of activities and sights within its reach.
Day 07 (Mon, 15 Jun’20)

Take a train ride up the mountain to the “top of Europe” at Jungfraujoch this morning where breath-taking mountain views of four-thousand metre peaks covered in eternal snow can be seen. With Europe’s highest altitude railway station at 3,454m, Jungfraujoch provides more than just a great view with attractions like an ice palace and snow park for visitors to fully enjoy their experience up in the Alps.
Coming back down to Interlaken, have some free time to explore the town and all that it has to offer.
Day 08 (Tue, 16 Jun’20)
Interlaken – Bern – Lucerne – Zürich

The capital of Switzerland, Bern has retained much of its medieval atmosphere amid being the political centre of the country. With an Old Town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, history, nature, culture and economy merge in the array of museums, attractions and shopping arcades that can be found in the city, wrapped by the bends of the River Aare.
Moving on to Lucerne along the shores of its namesake lake, take in the panorama of the mountains surrounding the picturesque town where tradition and modernity coexist. Highlights of the town include the Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in Europe, and the Cultural Convention Centre, an architectural beauty designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.
Finally, make your way to Zürich where you will spend the night.

Make a trip out to the Rhine Falls today. Europe’s largest waterfall, an average of 700,000 litres of water plunges down a drop of 150m every second. Created by tectonic movements years ago, marvel at the natural beauty of the mighty waterfall! Nearby is the picturesque medieval town of Schaffhausen, considered to be one of the most attractive in Switzerland. Ornate designs cover the facades of old buildings dating back to Gothic and Baroque times while the ring-shaped Munot fortress offers sweeping views over the city.
Return to Zürich this afternoon where you will have a tour of the largest city in Switzerland. The clean and efficient city is known to have the highest standard of living in the world and is host to a diverse mix of cultures, history and commerce. A creative centre and host of world-famous brands, including the headquarters of FIFA, the vibrant metropolis is one of Europe’s top travel destinations.
